2024

In August 2024, I traversed the volcanic wilderness of Iceland’s highlands. My focus was on the In-between spaces—the quiet, often overlooked remnants of this extreme environment.

2022

In the fall of 2022, I explored the landscapes in and around Taos, New Mexico for a commission. The intersection of geological, ecological, and cultural histories became the central focus of this body of work.

2019-2022

Since 2019, I have been documenting the remote regions of eastern Oregon, where the volcanic landscape of the northern Great Basin continues to inspire my work. My process often emerges serendipitously, capturing the area's raw geological character.

2007-2020

Since 2007, I have been painting in the high desert of southern Idaho, including Copper Basin, Craters of the Moon, and the edges of Yellowstone. My work often revolves around found objects discovered while camping in these rugged, expansive terrains.

In 2015, I began working in the Madison River Valley and later in Lolo National Forest. Long walks through fields, forests, and riverbanks revealed interconnected objects and landscapes that inform my paintings.
