In Idaho, the transition between the Great Basin and the Continental Divide has been a source of inspiration for many years. Volcanic activity left behind lava flows, cinder cones, and fissures, shaping a dramatic landscape of subtle colors and contrasts.
The sparse remnants of human history are equally profound. Indigenous peoples left petroglyphs, while pioneers on the Oregon Trail left wagon tracks and scattered artifacts.
